A marathon not a sprint for Domestic & General, proud sponsors of the Commonwealth Games

We’ve done our warm-up exercises. We’ve washed our kit properly. Now we’re ready for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.

As a proud sponsor of the Games, Domestic & General have taken the baton and are racing ahead in our mission to achieve a better, greener world. We have partnered with the Games this year as they attempt to set new records – and this time, they aren’t all athletic world records.

Birmingham 2022 aims to be the first carbon-neutral Commonwealth Games in history, amplifying the importance of sustainability to a global audience. The Games will attract over 4,500 athletes from over 72 terrains around the globe for an expected audience of up to 1.5 billion.

That’s a lot of people who will get to witness history and realise that each and every one of us can play our part in making our planet greener.

This isn’t the first step Domestic & General have made in attempting to bring about change.

Repair by repair we’re doing our bit to save the world already, most recently partnering with The Reuse Network to raise awareness on why to repair and recycle appliances, and the best way to do it.

Sponsoring the Games gets our message out there to more people. More people who can each take small actions to make a big difference. There’s strength in numbers, and the Commonwealth Games unites communities from all around the world to share celebrate our accomplishments, our differences, and our similarities.

At the Games 2022, let’s share one goal – to make the world a better place for everyone.
