Registering your appliance might not be the first thing you think of when moving house or upgrading products in your home. However, with brands from AEG to Zanussi, you can register almost all the main appliances you have which will offer you added safety benefits and potentially save you money.

What is covered?
It isn’t just new appliances that you can register, the initiative covers items that are up to 12 years old. So, if it was a housewarming gift, bought second hand or a freecycled appliance these can all be registered online.
With an estimated 170 million large appliances in use in UK homes, many up and down the country have not been registered but doing so makes your home that little bit safer.
A quick and easy registration process offers you peace of mind that if a problem has been identified with your appliance, you will be contacted and, in most cases, a qualified technician will fix the issue in your home.
Without registering, it can be very difficult to trace customers back to their appliance, in doing so will ensure that you will be informed of any potential problems.
